Sally Adams

Sally is a third-year International Relations student. She has interned within the humanitarian and consultancy sector. Sally’s research interests lie in the East Asian development model and its potential application elsewhere.

She is a Staff Writer at Roar News, Founder and President of the King’s Australasian society, and a keen backpacker – 75 countries and counting!

Justine Fung

Justine is a third-year student studying Politics in the Department of Political Economy. Her academic interests are in intergovernmental strategic communications, United Nations Peacekeeping, election communications and French political campaigning. She is also a Working Group Member for the Centre of Defence and Diplomacy at King’s Think Tank and has written for the Logos Journal at King’s College London’s Political Theory Association.

Valeria Sinisi Garcia

I am a Spanish and Italian student in my last year of a BA in International Relations at KCL. I am very interested in journalism and writing which is why I am involved in several student-led journalistic initiatives. Currently, I am Regional Editor for Latin America at ‘Dialogue’, the journal of the KCL Politics Society, as well as regular contributor for the KCL Latin American Society’s blog ‘El Cortao’. I have also written for a few other student publications such as ‘Sensus Journal’ or ‘The Clandestine’, on issues such as feminism, current affairs, international law and environmental conservation (and more recently on its intersection with human rights). However, my biggest passion is fighting climate change, which is why this summer I became a Climate Leader through the training offered by The Climate Reality Project. In the next few years, I plan on studying law and becoming specialised in climate change litigation.

Thais Ricard

I am Thais Ricard, I am the Strife’s Communications and Outreach Intern. I am in my last year of a BA in History and International Relations. My main research interests are about security issues, such as drug trafficking, gangs’ violence, and insurgency movements, especially across Latin America. I am particularly keen on analyzing those matters from a gender-based perspective.

In addition to my studies and my job at Strife, I wrote articles for El Cortao, a blog that aims at promoting Latin American identity and news.
