Prachi Aryal
Web Manager

Prachi is a graduate from the Department of War Studies at King’s College London. She recently completed her Master’s in International Conflict Studies. She is currently associated with the Department as a Student Communications Ambassador.

Her research interests have been shaped by her experience of growing up in Nepal amidst the Civil War. She is interested in exploring the areas of gender justice, transitional justice, post conflict reconciliation and the role of visual media in communicating realities of conflict. She started at Strife as a Staff Writer and has contributed articles surrounding various facets of conflict in South Asia.

Prior to this she received a degree in Journalism from the University of Delhi and was the recipient of the University Medal for Academic Excellence. She has also worked with the Comprehensive Disaster Risk Management Programme, UNDP in Nepal and The Kathmandu Post as a Communication Intern.
